Emily Mott was educated at The Putney School, Dartmouth College and Art Center College of Design. In NYC she worked as a pastry chef and book reviewer before turning to photography. Clients include: Conde Nast Traveller, Travel + Leisure, Rolling Stone, The New Yorker, L'Uomo Vogue, The Telegraph Magazine, The Washington Post, Vogue UK, Saveur, Time, Newsweek, Esquire, Fortune, House + Garden, Aer Lingus, British Airways, Waitrose, IKEA, UNICEF, WHO, Penguin Books, Random House and Knopf Publishers. 

When she is not on assignment, Emily runs the local film club and supports charities by shooting pro bono work for groups such as Friends without Borders, Portsmouth Bangali Community Association, Rural Refugee Network, Edlumino and others.

She lives on a farm in West Sussex surrounded by apple trees and owls with her husband, two young children, 8 happy hens and a cat named Groucho.
